Host your birthday party at Pumpkinland! Reserve your private party room while enjoying all the daytime events Colonial has to offer this fall!
Host your party at Colonial! Reserve one of two, fully-decorated, private party rooms for your celebration. Add on hayrides and mazes day-of to make the most of your fun.
Party rooms are located in our gardenhouse, just behind our Pumpkinland set-up, and are shielded from the weather. Both party rooms are fully decorated and include tables, seating, and table cloths. Electricity is available, but please note that our system cannot handle large energy requirements such as multiple crockpots. No alcohol is allowed on the property.
Party room rental fees include the price of the room for the selected 2 hour time frame, access to the free portion of Pumpkinland (not private), and a combination ticket for the birthday child for our mazes and daytime hayride. The rental does not include tickets for guests for our hayrides and mazes. Additional tickets are purchased day-of; parties of 15 or more passengers ride their own wagon. Hosts may arrive 15 minutes early to set up and should plan to leave the room promptly at the end of their timeslot to allow staff to clean between parties.
Large Party Room:
- $135 Rental Fee
- Table seating for 36 with additional seating to accommodate a total of 50 people.
Small Party Room:
- $110 Rental Fee
- Accommodates 25 people at tables.
Additional tickets for daytime events can be purchased day-of at our register via cash or card. All final totals are due prior to your hayride. Daytime events are as follows:
Pumpkinland: A free play space sheltered within the greenhouse, featuring photo ops, larger than life characters, and our hay jump. Pumpkinland is perfect entertainment for pre-school and young elementary age children. No tickets needed for this event.
Daytime Hayrides: A 15-minute ride through our woods, filled with your favorite characters and some spooky Halloween scenes. Appropriate for most ages. $8/person.
Mazes: Unlimited runs through our 3 kid-friendly mazes: The Funhouse, Casper's Sunken Treasure, and Corn Maze. $4/person
Combination of Hayride & Maze: $11/person. Children 2 & under ride and play free when supervised by an adult with a paid ticket.
Additional Packages: Take-Home Pumpkins, Goodie Bags, Balloon Bunches, and Games packages can be booked by emailing ColonialGardensPA@gmail.com.
Refund Policy: If you have a change of plans, we are happy to switch your date or time to an available timeslot at no charge if given at least a week's notice. We can offer a full refund (minus service fees) given 14 days notice.
Weather Policy: Party rooms are located within a greenhouse structure, shielding the rental space from weather such as rain. The greenhouse is typically warmer than outdoor temperatures, so please dress appropriately. Pumpkinland is sheltered within the greenhouse structure as well and is not impacted by the weather. The mazes are mostly outdoors but are open in most weather conditions. Hayrides run according to state guidelines, which means they may be impacted by rain or high winds that impact safety or visibility. We do not offer refunds for parties in case of rain. We offer a games rental package, as well as a pumpkin decorating option.

Set Up and Breakdown: In order to keep party rooms flowing smoothly, parties are allowed to set-up 15 minutes prior to their reservation time and should plan to be out of the space promptly at the end of their reservation time to allow our staff to clean between parties. If you choose to add decorations to the room, be prepared to remove them before you exit. Confetti and paint are prohibited.
Food: Parties are welcome to bring their own food or have food delivered during their party timeslot. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Event Timing: Pumpkinland and the mazes are both "play at your own pace" spaces. Wristbands for the mazes allow children to access the children's mazes throughout the day. Daytime hayrides last about 15 minutes. Parties should alert staff of their intended time for riding the hayride. Parties skip the line and ride on their own private wagons. Wagons typically accommodate at least 25 guests per ride with a ride time of approximately 15 minutes. More guests may fit depending on our wagon and the size of the guest. Multiple wagons typically run simultaneously.
Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times and ensuring that the party adheres to all rules including, but not limited to:
- Keeping all body parts inside the wagon at all times
- Staying seated when the wagon is in motion
- Playing safely and kindly with others
- No throwing any items including toys, corncobs, and rocks
- No destruction of property including breaking cornstalks or maze items
- No climbing on the pumpkins
Additional Restrictions: No glass bottles or weapons of any kind. Please limit any candles or other open flames to a birthday cake. Party rooms are not supervised by staff. Do not leave valuables unattended in the rooms.
Accessibility Information: Party rooms are accessible to wheelchair users from our parking lots and much of Pumpkinland is also wheelchair accessible. Stairs are required to board and unboard the hayride wagons. Only certified service dogs may ride the hayride. A wheelchair accessible portapotty is available to guests. Please contact staff at 610-948-9755 in advance of your party if you have any questions or special accommodation requests.
Reservations are refundable given at least 10 days notice. Please note that we can only refund you the cost of the reservation and not any of the associated service fees. We can also reschedule you to a different available time slot at no charge.
